Saturday night Molly Hatchet drew almost 12000 fans to the City of Cape Coral’s Coconut Fest at Sun Splash Family Water Park.  An evening that was filled with great music from bands like the New Kings and Guns4Roses, Molly Hatchet closed out this year’s festival with their classic hits as well as a new song that will likely find its way on to the new album.  Talent! booked and coordinated all the main stage entertainment for the City of Cape Coral.

James Otto…CMA Winner and coming to the Cape!

On the heels of his win for Song of the Year at the Country Music Awards, James Otto will be appearing on Friday, November 13 at Coconut Fest.    In addition to James, the hot group Bomshel will be making their south Florida debut and will be joined by Casey Weston, who made her first appearance in the Cape on the same stage last year and was brought back by popular demand!  As in previous years, Talent! is the agency of record, booking the national entertainment and providing production co-ordination for the event.

Nonpoint Rock the Cape

The night before Halloween national recording artists and Florida favorites Nonpoint took the stage at the Leapin Lizard’s first annual Voodoo Festival that drew thousands to the Cape.   The band tore through an explosive set that included their classic version of the Phil Collins signature song, “In The Air Tonight”.   The first night of a two day fest that included several up and coming regional bands, the talent, production and event services were all produced by Talent Ventures, Inc.

Last night Clint Wiley’s None Other brought their entire production to the Hyatt Coconut Point Resort and Spa to entertain members of the Florida Festival and Events Association.  Following cocktails and a great dinner provided by the Hyatt, the band performed two great sets that covered five decades of hit music.  From a very contemporary take on the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ classic, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” to the latest hit by the Killers, the band packed the dance floor and entertained the seasoned event professionals.  The evening was capped off by a wonderful fireworks display courtesy of Zambelli.  Thanks to Eleanor Krusel and the fine folks at the F.F.E.A. or including Clint Wiley’s None Other in their festivities.  Look for video from the evening to appear on YouTube in the near future.

Blues Traveler

The Edison Festival of Light hosted two well attended shows, the first being the annual Music Fest in Centennial Park, Fort Myers.  This year we brought two legendary rock acts to the park,  Blues Traveler and The Smithereens and they entertained a large Valentine’s Day crowd with a bevy of hits.  Estimated attendance for the show was 5000 and everyone had a great time!
